ALL drivers MUST sign up before accessing the race/pit area for practice and/or racing sessions.
Sign Up:
Sign a MTRC waiver and must include any of their guests that are under 18 yrs. of age. (Anyone 18 & over must sign a waiver)
Fill out the track registration form,
Pay the race fees and/or rental fees and receive a wristband
Cash/Card is the only payment type accepted for track fees and rentals. No refunds!
Wristband has to remain on your wrist throughout the entire practice day or race event. (There will be no exceptions)
Only drivers running their cars are allowed on the driver's stand.
All driving must be done from the drivers stand unless handicapped.
No leaning or resting arms on the driver stand railing. Be courteous and make sure not to obstruct the view of other drivers while on the drivers stand.
After each race drivers are expected to marshal. If unable, It is the drivers responsibility to find a replacement to marshal.
During a race program drivers may not be swapped at any time.
No shoes or bare feet are allowed on the track, all drivers MUST USE SOCKS.
No driving on the track without a body at any time.
No children under 14 without an adult supervision at all times.
No reserving or holding pit space for others, pit space is strictly first come first serve.
MTRC assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen products, please look after your own belongings.
It is of utmost importance to make sure that the racing and social culture at MTRC is welcoming to all visitors and drivers of all skill levels. It is unacceptable to be rude, discouraging, disrespectful toward others. Any bad behavior will not be tolerated and it will result in penalties, disqualifications, or banned from the property entirely.
Sportsmanship
Proper behavior, manners, and good sportsmanship is required at all times from all drivers and their guests. General bad behavior includes but is not limited to; foul language, arguing, yelling, trash talking, intentional bad driving, not marshaling after your race etc. Drivers will be held responsible for bad behavior of their guests
Drivers are required to keep their pit space organized/clean. The driver is responsible for cleaning up their pit space when leaving.
If you crash during a practice/qualifying/race session, announce to all current drivers of your crash location on the track, if the race director does not do so.
When reversing, one must not back directly into traffic, doing so purposefully is considered unsportsmanlike conduct.
Racing is non contact but due to the nature of the hobby, contact will occur, under no circumstance can one intentionally make contact with another car.
During qualifiers and races, the car in front has the right of way, it is the duty for the car behind to look for the opportunity to make the pass safely.
Driver with the inside line has the corner
During practice, slower drivers should let faster drivers by when possible. It is important to mention that practice is for practice not for racing. You can battle with your friend but it cannot interfere with other drivers practice sessions.
Disputes between drivers that cannot be quickly resolved should be brought to the attention of the race director or a race official. All disputes will be handled and resolved as fairly as possible. Race director gets final say for all driver disputes.
If anyone notices a driver breaking the rules or using something that is prohibited then it should be reported to the race director. If the driver in question is currently racing then a technical inspection will be performed after the race has completed to not interfere with other drivers. Depending on the severity of the issue, penalties, disqualification, or removal from property will be a result of the rule infringement.
The following actions will result in immediate dismissal and getting banned from the track.
There will be no physical altercations or abusive language with other racers, spectators, employees, etc.
No smoking, vaping, drugs and/or alcohol in the building.
No firearms allowed in the building.
Only 70% alcohol solution may be used to clean tires. Any cleaners being used that may damage the track will result in immediate disqualification and banned from the property. Traction compounds of any kind are not allowed.
If anyone is caught conducting any of the above mentioned, or is associated with these actions, you will be banned for life and asked to leave the premises IMMEDIATELY. You will also forfeit your entry fee.
