Chassis (90mm – 102mm)

• MR02/MR03 RWD ONLY

Motor

• Stock Kyosho RTR brushed motor

• No internal motor modifications are allowed

• Stock capacitors and thermal cutoff switch must remain untouched

• Motor wires may be replaced, this is the only motor modification allowed

Gearing

• Stock pinion and differential gears

• 6T-9T pinion only

Wheels (width x diameter)

• Kyosho or PN branded plastic or aluminum wheels (No 3D printed, prototype wheels)

• Front wheels must be 8.5mm x 20mm ONLY (Larger 11mm or 14mm are not allowed)

• Rear wheels must be 11mm x 20mm ONLY (Larger 14mm are not allowed)

• Mounted tire and wheel diameter cannot exceed 25.5mm 

• Offset must fit properly inside the body

Tires

• Any brand of Rubber Tires (must be a production tire and widely available)

• No foam, silicone, Urethane, Ethyl Carbamate, prototype and/or homemade tires.

• Traction compounds of any kind is NOT ALLOWED. Tire warmers are allowed.

• Tire cleaning with 70% alcohol solution is allowed.

Transmitter

• Stock Kyosho RTR Transmitter Only

• Must be in stock configuration (No mods of any kind to steering wheel or throttle/brake trigger)

Batteries

• KYO71998 - Kyosho Speedhouse AAA batteries ONLY!

Bodies

• Stock Kyosho Autoscale and Hard plastic bodies

• Bodies must remain in stock configuration.

  • Entire windshield and windows must remain installed

  • Trimming is allowed for clearance purposes only

  • Front splitters may be rounded (No Performance modifications)

  • Bodies must be painted in a visible color (No solid white and/or Black allowed)

• Lexan bodies, windows and/or roofs are not allowed

Weight

• Stock (Minimum ~ approximately 180g)

Modifications

• King-pin Flip Mod

• T-Plate can be upgraded (OEM only - Kyosho)

• Front suspension springs (OEM only - Kyosho)

• Aluminum wheel nuts (OEM only - Kyosho)

• Any brand ball bearings

• Lube/grease allowed for dampening, and differential

NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS OTHER THAN ONES LISTED ABOVE ARE ALLOWED

• 3D Print Transponder Holder, Body Side Clips, ESC Top Cover NOT allowed. 

• No other aluminum, 3D printed and/or prototype parts allowed

• Titanium and/or Hex Screws are NOT allowed

• Motor RPM adjustment by ICS is prohibited

• Front wheels must be 8.5mm x 20mm ONLY (Larger 11mm or 14mm are not allowed)

Tires (Tire diameter must be between 23mm and 24.7mm except for MZW40 series tires*)

• Kyosho brand of Rubber Tires ONLY. 

• Cutting and shaving tires is not allowed. 

• Traction compounds of any kind is NOT ALLOWED. 

• Tires can be mounted on wheels with double sided tape. (Tape thickness must be similar to R246-1 246-1041/1042 can only apply one round.)

• Tire warmers are allowed.

• Tire cleaning with 70% alcohol solution is allowed.

*Tire diameter is measured at the smallest spot on the front and largest spot on the rear.

• Only use 1 layer of tire tape, double layering the tape will exceed the maximum allowed diameter. 

• Traction compounds of any kind is NOT ALLOWED. 

• Tires can be mounted on wheels with double sided tape. (Tape thickness must be similar to R246-1 246-1041/1042 can only apply one round.)

• Tire warmers are allowed.

• Tire cleaning with 70% alcohol solution is allowed.
